MY STORY
MY STORY
I reside in beautiful Coquitlam BC and love my community and all that British Columbia has to offer. The Coast Salish people were the first to live in this area, and archaeology confirms continuous occupation of the territory for at least 9,000 years. The name Kwikwetlem is said to be derived from a Coast Salish term "kʷikʷəƛ̓əm" meaning "red fish up the river". I spent most of my early years in the Yukon and northern communities, and was taught by those communities to respect how people and the environment coexist, yet must continually adapt to a changing world to create a sustainable existence.
I similarly respect the endeavors of meaningful, sustainable, and ethical product developers and manufactures, and their desire to bring access of great products to all people. Together, this dream of ours is what drove me to launch KNB, and my desire to help these businesses grow and succeed. I have over 25 years of sales experience with 15 of those as a distributor sales representative in the Natural, Organic, and Wellness Industry. Over those years I have sold 200+ natural & organic brands (about 20% new to market launches). Products ranged from Wellness & Supplements, Beauty, Healthy Snacks, Sports Nutrition, Pet Nutrition, Grocery, and all great things in between. This experience has honed my skills to work harmoniously with vendors, brokers, and distributors to grow sales and promote brands at the retail level with directors in both Key Accounts and Independents. I possess a professional demeanor, a developed business acumen, and have respect with my industry peers. I have been representing individual brands throughout Western Canada since 2021. I can help your company thrive by utilising consultative sales methods and marketing strategies while employing ethical business practices.
